If it’s your pup’s first Thanksgiving, or you’re hosting for the first time, having a lot of people in the house can stir up a lot of emotions and cause stress. There are a few ways that you can help to manage anxiety and energy levels.

Exercise

Although these fall mornings may be chilly, getting your dog’s extra energy out can help reduce stress and anxiety that may come up throughout the day. Additionally, it’s better to get their walk in before your day is consumed by cooking and entertaining!

Mental Stimulation

While you’re stirring, chopping, and baking, your pup is probably wondering why you’re not playing with them and feeding them your delicious cooking.
